I lead UX at Glance, where I'm responsible for product design across the platform and work directly with leadership, product managers, and engineers. The thing I own most closely is the design system the product line runs on: tokens, Figma component libraries, and a CI/CD pipeline that keeps design and code in sync.
That pipeline now runs through AI coding agents. I write the prompts and the agent Skills they work from, then review and test what comes back before it ships. Iteration time and rework both dropped. It also changed what my day looks like: less specifying, more deciding.
A system is only real if teams can contribute to it and trust the releases. Documentation, a contribution model, and release discipline matter as much as the components.
I go straight to interactive prototypes in Figma and Claude. Wireframes were a way to talk about a thing; now we can just look at the thing.
WCAG enforced in the system itself, supporting VPAT certification, validated with AI usability testing alongside real sessions.
Moderated and unmoderated testing, agent shadowing, journey maps, and findings written for stakeholders who have to act on them.
I spent three decades at Weymouth Design in Boston, the last eleven as partner and digital creative director, leading a team of designers, project managers, and developers building websites and portals for clients including Titleist, NETGEAR, Genzyme, The TJX Companies, TA Associates, and Harvard Medical School.
